Who We Are
CHROME Retreat stands for Christ Helping Rescue Oppressed Men Everyday and is a peaceful 30-acre men’s retreat located in Marianna, Florida. This campus serves as a headquarters for our men’s discipleship and recovery program focusing on a relationship with Christ and healing with 150 beds. The program is designed to support and rescue men who are overcoming life-controlling issues and recovering from drug and alcohol addiction, homelessness, depression, and abuse. Through the process of RESCUE, RECOVERY, RE-ENGAGEMENT, and REUNIFICATION we are able to walk alongside men in difficult situations and support them as they take bold steps and begin to live the life God has destined for them. This program is structured to eliminate distractions so that participants can focus on building a healthy foundation to rebuild their lives. Food, housing, education, and mentorship, are all provided free of charge.
What We Do
At its core, CHROME provides rescue, recovery, re-engagement, and reunification through a structured program rooted in the teachings of Jesus Christ. Participants experience recovery via biblical discipleship, counseling support, and one-on-one mentorship, while also engaging in hands-on vocational training. These vocational tracks include marine, automotive, and small-engine repair, as well as landscaping, pressure washing, and painting, equipping men with marketable skills and a strong work ethic.
CHROME also offers a safe, supportive environment for reunification, where men are guided through the healing process of restoring broken relationships with family. Through counseling, mentorship, accountability, and faith-based support, participants learn healthy communication, responsibility, and forgiveness—creating pathways for reconciliation and lasting family restoration.
As men grow in stability and responsibility, CHROME offers a Transition Program designed to prepare them for independent living through re-engagement with the workforce. During this phase, participants enter the workforce, maintain employment, and learn financial stewardship by saving money and setting measurable goals. With guidance and accountability, men work toward milestones such as obtaining a driver’s license, purchasing a reliable vehicle, and securing safe, independent housing.
