Habitat for Humanity of Bay County, FL

Habitat for Humanity of Bay County Florida, Inc. is an ecumenical Christian 501(C)(3) nonprofit organization that welcomes volunteers from all faiths who are able to commit to helping Habitat in its mission of creating affordable housing. With the help of hundreds of volunteers Habitat is able to build decent and affordable homes for those in need. Homes are sold with no profit, but are not free.  Homeowners contribute “sweat equity” working along side volunteers. Plus, they are given a low cost, affordable mortgage. The mortgage payments are then recycled to continue to build additional homes. 

Habitat for Humanity of Bay County believes everyone deserves a decent place to live! A home that is safe, healthy, and affordable. Volunteers are the heart and soul of our work and make our mission possible! We have individuals and groups that roll up their sleeves and get dirty on the build site. No experience is necessary! We have others that serve on one of our many committees such as Resource & PR Committee, Family Selection Committee, Church Relations Committee, and others. Some realize our Restores  are invaluable in generating income for our work and they help out in one of our two Restores. We have something for everyone!
