Bay County Emergency Services and local non-profit and faith-based organizations are gearing up to open a warming shelter should temperatures reach the required threshold. At this time, we are looking at sometime between December 27th - January 2nd based on early projections.
Volunteers are requested to perform various functions to man the shelter once opened. Functions include volunteer and guest check-in, food prep and serve, dorm room monitoring, etc. Volunteers will be sent a sign-up genius link for specific functions and shifts.
